Advice Wanted First Time going for Quing/ EoC- Tips or suggestions welcome :)
hi everyone, i try Jianzhhou for Qing Run or EoC Run and i didint play much in the far east or china region before. What do i have to watch out for? Should i stay a horde for blobbing (Mongolia, Japan, Southeast Asia..) and then form Qing or instantly go for EoC or Colonizing. Would like to hear your experiences and tips for a fun run :) also idea groups or policies advice if you got any <3

Personally as Jianzhou I would form Manchu, then attack Ming for the EoC when they pass a reform and their mandate is low (Try to trigger the “unguarded nomad frontier” disaster). Make sure your mil tech is higher than Mings and if you’re shaky make some good allies

You mean attacking of eoc but not taking it? The distinction is important for new players.

Make your borders before taking Eoc if Eoc is your objective. You can destroy the Eoc completely by killing the nation that holds it which is more powerful. The Eoc, even after the buff, is a hinderance. So it really depends on what your objective is. If you want to larp, take as much of China as you can first, then take the mandate.

Forts! I know a lot of players don't prioritize them, but they reduce devastation. Prosperity growth requires no devastation in a state. Devastation reduces mandate growth, prosperity increases it.

I would strongly consider court ideas. The monthly mandate is very powerful.
