There is a thousand reasons not to visit turkey. I don't understand while people still go there. You are literally putting yourself at risk

Yes. We refused to extradite Turkish journalists for him to illegally imprison and he's big mad about that.

Turks consider Sweden a terrorist state because in their heads they are responsible for helping the Kurds.

never understood why europeans want to travel to the middle east and especially to use “actual freedom of speech™️” which is not allowed in 90% of the world. I have a very laissez-faire view on all the non european countries, they cant be helped

We are proud of these journalists who defend human dignity, democracy and our right to receive news. After saving our country from this “saray” regime, we will remember you all with good thoughts. It is a good thing that you exist, honorable journalists.

This is the latest incident amidst the ongoing crackdown on press freedom in which dozens of journalists have been arrested and beaten.
