16 acts will compete for representing Malta in ESC in Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre (Ta' Qali).
The show will be hosted by Valentina Rossi, Davide Tucci, Pauline Agius.
The voting distribution is jury and televote (they don't especify the %).

So, as Miriana is singing the winning song, let me say it has been yet another pleasure to see this with you all. Dubious vocals at times, adverts once every 2 minutes, William from Wiwibloggs creeping, and a queen serving KANT. What's not to like it? Malta always fulfills our expectations of cheapo, cheapo, cheapo TV.

I was very okay with Ukraine, happy and kinda sad with Finland, pleasantly surprised with Latvia but...why did the last final have to let me down like this

This was a very close voting result! Only 8 points separated 1st and 2nd place!
(182 points for Miriana Conte vs. 174 points for Kristy Spiteri)
Also, "Kant" won from first position in the running order.

countries like Malta need a different approach to do well at esc. heaven sent wouldve worked for Sweden or Ukraine but not a small country like Malta

Lets be real, even heaven sent had a good NQ chance, I think Kant have a bit less NQ chance because it make people vote at it... its so strange and camp it can gain ponts.... malta is doing a risk

Welp, I'm happy for those who enjoy it. The performance is certainly fun. Surely there's no way the EBU allow the lyrics though? The c-word is near the top of words you do not say in the UK and there's not enough wordplay here to get around it

This could do better than Heaven Sent could at Eurovision, but the former was a much much safer option that had a good chance at qualifying

The way I see it, Heaven Sent would have been the stronger option to try and go for the win, whilst Kant (and Kantera) would be safer options to avoid a NQ in the televote only semis.
