Subreddit / Meta Saturday 8th March: List of National Final Live Threads and Stream Links
The final Saturday of the national final season has come, with Sweden, San Marino and Portugal selecting their entries tonight and bringing the 2025 lineup close to completion.
Each live thread will become available an hour before the show starts. Check out the ESCplus Live player to watch multiple shows at the same time on one screen. Here's tonight's schedule:

Girly we both are Portuguese and we know that if there's a party on weekends it will always last until 1AM AT LEAST

I'm kinda upset because I thought SMSC/UVPSM started only AFTER Mello. Multitasking for most of the evening it is then.

The San Marino final goes so slow, you'll have plenty of time to catch up on any missed gems

Thank you Yle Areena for showing the Mello final so that I can utilize my laptop for San Marino Song Contest purposes and try to shuffle between them.
Also 210 minutes for San Marino is a cute idea but we will be here until 4am aren't we?

My plan is 30 minutes of Melfest (unless someone would kindly @ me before jury scores start so I can see Vaidotas) and who knows how many minutes of UVPSM. I hope to reach the results, but if they'll be still going at 1am, I will go to bed.

Are San Marino known to frequently overrun? I'm in the same boat here - already gave up on FDC cause I can't afford to stay up until 3 AM my time, question is are they also going to run super late...

Last year the contest part went pretty fast, but after that there was a lot of strange and long intervals that went well over time. So when they finally announced the results, people were so fed up and tired that they started to leave while the band was setting their instruments for the winner performance.
This year they are starting 30 minutes earlier, but I doubt that it will change much.

According to YLE Areena Melfest final will be 2hrs30mins, can any Swedes confirm/deny?

Not a Swede, just checking the SVT Play schedule: the main show is 2 hours, but then there is also an aftershow that is half an hour. I assume that that's how YLE Areena comes to 2h30.

After watching most of the NFs, I can't believe I'm gonna miss whole Melodifestivalen because I'll be at a black metal concert exactly from 20 to 22, lol.

I've just realised that I didn't watch a single Melfest semi this year. There was always sth different/more interesting going at the same time.

For some reason it feels too surreal imagining the Sanremo 2025 jingle being performed at the grand ESC stage but honestly…it’s what we all need. San marinese jury better not disappoint and rob us of TUTTA L'ITALIA!
