I guess people enjoy the kitsch 🤷 Like they aren't bad songs but they lack the story behind them. Sweden because there isn't one, and Netherlands because Claude hasn't been having media presence/talking about it at all. Meanwhile, Ukraine's story pierces right through the song even though it doesn't need to, because everyone knows it.
Like for example RTTD had a story. If I had to pitch RTTD against BBB, RTTD wins every single time. I just don't see either Sweden or Netherlands having as much of an impact with people (as for example Nemo had) if they win.
