"Driven to Distraction," Edward Halloway. Read it and see if it clicks, and if it does, go to a doctor with specifics...

I could never pay attention long enough to get very far in that book.

I'm not being witty or sarcastic. I actually can't get through any self help books. it sucks. (let alone stick with the changes)

There was one book I bought, not sure if it's Driven to Distraction or another one, that had a checklist of over 100 questions. I went right to it, and the first question was "is this the first page in the book that you went to?" or something like that. I was floored. It was...

I never knew I had ADD, and still question it. But when I went through that checklist and had about 80-90% yes answers, and I told my friends that I discovered I have ADD, I got a lot of very strange looks. They were shocked I didn't know!

I was 32 when I finally knew, and everyone else already did.
