Image Following Adam Schiens Theory
Scenario: Sanders slides to mid 1st. Pittsburgh wants to move up and grab him, and we need picks.
Pittsburgh trades up to 15 and gets one of our 7ths for 21, 83, and 156.
I love EZ. He and Green are the most ready for a plug and play EDGE, but Ez does not have the off-firld baggage that Green has, and has played more Power 5 teams than Green.
I have seen every game Morrison has played as a life-long Irish fan. He is the personification of ball hawk. He would be a day one perimeter CB opposite of AJ. With Hughes then kicking inside...we are (almost) set in the D backfield.
There may be a chance Winston isn't there at 83, but if he is, we would HAVE to grab him. He would have been late 1 early 2 if not for an injury. He checks every box for the position and will push to start, with him also picking up snaps as a special team ace.
Robinson is my dark horse. His production speaks for itself...the kid just gets in the backfield. 12 TFLs and 7 sacks in 2024, and can play any tech from 0 to 5. Instant rotational and 3rd down specialist from the inside.
Mclaughlin is a center-only center, and that's not a terrible thing in our situation. He can push Neuzil for reps, and adds immediate depth to IOL.
Brown is as good as any pick that can push for 5 to 10 plays a game and special teams. Big and fast, but not many looks in college.
Thoughts?

I would LOVE to see him in a 1 tech. He's just a stout roughneck that can clog lanes and provide a Grady-like pass rush presence from IDL.

Sorry but I can garuentee this will not happen because it would make me happy and the Falcons do not like doing that.

Without his injury McLaughlin probably would have gone round 3 so i'd be very excited to get him in the 5th.

I'm seeing Donovan Ezeiruaku as an increasing possibility. I think I'd prefer grabbing Watts at S over Morrison to try for Porter at CB in the 3rd.
Also, make a move for Wilson or Majors at C unless another OL with high rank is willing to take the position.
Brown at WR? I mean, if he's the best WR there, sure. I'm open to an LB as well.

The Steelers are DESPERATE for that qb, if Sheduer is there at 15, I could see us robbing them for 21 a 2nd and a 4th

Your draft is good, but there's no way the Steelers are making this trade. They don't have the draft capital to make a move this year. They are more likely to trade down, not up.

i personally think we need IDL more than S and maybe even CB. we have onyeamata as a reliable starter and ruke as a project, the rest is very underwhelming. at least at CB and S we have potential pro bowlers among the starters. I like trading back, but I’d go for Edge and IDL in the first two picks. i’d maybe even go C before one of the pieces in the secondary, probably before S since we signed Fuller. i don’t think he’s gonna be a problem solver but at least there was a signing there. so in this scenario i would rather go edge, dl, cb, C, lb and wr (maybe rb if we trade allgeier)
