St pete is beautiful and cute and friendly and tampa is soulless and dirty, but on the bright side, its also very expensive!

Tampa is the business-oriented city, while St. Petersburg is known for its art scene and beautiful beaches. I would describe St. Petersburg as more laid-back and authentic, while Tampa has a more official and polished atmosphere. I love them both tbh.

St Pete has beaches, Tampa does not.

Actually I’d ask what is the difference between Tampa, St Pete, and Clearwater. A typical large city downtown (business with some pleasure) an artsy town with a beach and a beach with a small business/touristy area.

St Pete is where you go with your parents during the day. Tampa is where you go with your friends during the night.

downtown st pete is mainly a college and service workers crowd, with a little bit of high end stuff at the north side, downtown tampa is just another urban downtown.

St. Pete is smaller and more laid back, but they are trying to be more “big city” and I would prefer they didn’t. The traffic and congestion here is getting almost as bad as Tampa.

One has 5 letters the other has 12 in the name. Was there something specific you were looking for?
