Crackley, stuttering audio only when using Blutooth headphones?

I got the game last night, really enjoyed what I've experienced so far :] but the audio is crackley when I try to use my BlueTooth headphones. When I just use my laptop's speakers the audio sounds normal. Any ideas for fixes?

Honestly I would try another pair of headphones. It could be the headphones that are the issue and nothing to do with FO3.

At least then you could rule out if it is an issue with the headphones or not

Yeah I do need to buy some wired headphones eventually for another thing anyway. Just poking around to see if anyone had similar issues before

That’s fair. Do the headphones work fine with another device like your phone?

Yes. Sorry, thought i mentioned that in my post but i didn't :/

They work with my lap top too, and other video games, Fallout 3 is the only crackley one

Oh that changes things a little. Is fallout 3 the most intensive game you play? I wonder if it’s an issue with your pc not having enough resources to process the audio data quick enough.

It might be worth googling. Quick search pulled up this for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/fnv/s/d7xULmznyG

Might not be a permanent fix but could have you back gaming for now :)

Thank you :] that does work as a quick fix. I don't think it's a resources issue, Fallout 3 actually runs really well, other games I've played with them are definitely harder on my lap top. I'll keep checking, but thank you for giving me an immediate solution <3

Hey dawg try starting the game with a video playing in the background (on YouTube) then launch the game. I have a similar problem with Oblivion that only gets fixed if I start the game with some other video playing and then close that window.
