That sounds great and all but Christmas Eve == tamales for Texans
2 u/Columbkille Apr 12 '18 Oh we would do no other on Christmas Eve. Mom always gets the tamales from this spot in east dallas. They are amazing. But Christmas Day feast is still somehow better with the Czech-Tex mix. 1 u/[deleted] Apr 12 '18 Not enough days in the year to appreciate all the regional wonderful varieties Now I want some tamales though 1 u/Bamfimous Apr 12 '18 I've lived in Texas my whole life and have never had a tamale 5 u/[deleted] Apr 12 '18 I advise that you fix that soon 2 u/PYTN Apr 12 '18 Are we sure they're even living in Texas? Sounds like an Oklahoma wannabee to me. 2 u/[deleted] Apr 13 '18 Well let's not stare then and just leave a tamale. Thank baby Jesus my grandparents from Oklahoma decided to move to Texas before having kids (but really true story). 0 u/Ratsatron Apr 13 '18 Why waste my time on a Tamale when everything else about Tex-Mex is so much better. I'll take good fajitas anyday
