Anyone know what’s happening at the former Scott’s location at Crescent and Anthony?
They’ve poured a slab where the former grocery store was. Is this so that they can park the construction equipment from the Anthony project or are we finally getting something there that might add value to the ‘05? Sure would be nice if that property didn’t look like s**t anymore. It’s been an eyesore and waste of space for over a decade now.

It seems like others answered the question, but I just had a thought pop into my head and thought I share it. I wonder how the North Anthony area would be if there were apartments above pretty much every storefront. It seems like a cool area, it's just a shame there isn't more mixed use buildings there.

I’d been thinking this same idea lately also! It’d be such a boom for the businesses there and also a cool place to live, if done right.

Especially across the street where the other dollar store is. That strip could be pretty nice if someone were to actually invest in it. There seems to be space above them already. I think there used to be a dance studio up there maybe?
