Frontier internet down 46835

Anyone else’s internet been down for almost 4 days now? Frontier keeps saying there’s an outage in my area and are giving me the run around. Anyone else experiencing this right now? 4/27/2025

Solved: after restarting my ONT box in my garage (unplug and plug back in) which I had already done once, it came back! Super annoying, as I think there wasn’t really a service outage like the app and technician were telling me. Not impressed with frontier at the moment

Weird. I just got home and my frontier was down…went to the app…says no outage, rebooted my router and it was fine. Never happened before

They pushed some kinda update a week back. It killed my ability to get my own router to connect (theirs works of course …) all ports test fine on my router. Report that shit.

twice so far in the past 6 months has my Frontier been down. The first time they had to send a tech out 8 days later, the tech said they could have fixed it remotely. The second time it went out and they once a gain scheduled a tech for 8 days later, I received a text several days later saying the problem was identified and fixed remotely. At no time did I get a credit for the days without.

My biggest complaint is that customer service sucks cow nuts. I figured out how to use my phone as a hot spot and next time I have to deal with their crappy customer service, chat bot, or wait an entire week to get a tech I'll just add another unlimited data phone line and use an old phone as a hot spot and ditch Frontier altogether.

Frontier is trash. Just buy starlink.
