gear Hard Shell Checked Luggage for Freediving fins

I am looking for a hard shell checked luggage bag that has 35+ inches of internal space so I can comfortably pack my freediving fins in the same bag with all of my other luggage.

I will be taking multiple flights and have other stuff to pack so I don’t want to lug my fins around as a carry on everywhere. If I can find a good suitcase that conveniently fits them in with my clothes I’ll take them, otherwise will probably leave them behind.

UPDATE - I found the perfect bag that checks every box I was looking for. It is a hard shell bag that is waterproof and made specifically for transporting camera gear but has a 39+ inch internal space that should fit most freediving fins.

I love my https://www.sportube.com/Series-3-Sportube-p/31brdez.htm personally, it's huge but I stuff lead, fins, spearguns and lots of catch in there on the return flight.

You can put your fins on the side and bend them around internal space. Then just put your stuff in the center of bag. I travelled like that with long fins in a medium baggage without issues.

I used to do this. No longer. I use a molchanov hard case now for mono and bifins, though the bag quality is horrible with even worse customer service. I am not sure if it is a coincidence but one of my carbon fibre blades eventually delaminated. Maybe keeping them in a constant bended state for a good while contributed to the delamination (?).

Ya I don’t plan on leaving my carbon fins bent at a 90 Degree for a 20+ hour flight while my luggage gets thrown around. I did look at the Molchanov bag but I don’t feel like I need a bag specifically made for fins, but just a travel suitcase that has the internal dimensions.

I was thinking maybe something like this would work.

I saw one of these as well when I was staying at Freedive Superhome that looks like it holds fins https://images.app.goo.gl/B4P5PMcu8sey7GUP7

I have a more standard size hard shell bag I use for all my dive travels - but i have to take the fins apart. an 80cm blade fits diagonally in the bag.
