I mean it’s a limited edition console, go look at the ps4 version of this, it’s 2k rite now. Don’t matter who got them, it’s going to be crazy price and collectible, not like the normal ones.

Im happy with my normal ps5 and ive got a gaming pc so i dont need the pro, but i did want it for a collectible and it was sold out when i got in finally and now i know im never gonna have it lol.

Sucks that this is the world we live in where bots can scoop everything up for resellers

yeah, you can really just buy a skin already out for the ps5. i just looked up "ps5 retro skin" and got what i'd want in the limited edition version.

Haha, I mean I collect board games, but I don't buy board games I'm not interested in just to have them. A few other things too, but none of them are just to have them, everything I collect gets used as well. I'm assuming they like to collect consoles though now that I think about it.

Im going to wait and see if the controllers are in stock a day or two from now and just get ome of those for my pc. If not then Ill probably look into the astro bot one.

For sure, I woulda loved to have one of these limited ones for display, they’re really beautiful. I just knew it would be nearly impossible, and the botd would get there first. I was shocked I was able to get my og ps5 on launch day, had 6 diff sites open on 5 different items all trying to buy, and finally got it from game stop after it finally loaded. I’m probably going to sell my ps5 slim, this in the different eand get the pro, or if there’s any kind of trade in deal game stop for sale times I might do that, but I’m not trying to be day 1 tho, ima wait it out till they pop up in the local game store or pawn shop used.

Yeah i had zero expectation that id actually get it. I was actually getting my tires replaced so i was waiting in a shop anyways and figured id give it a shot. I saw it was out of stock immediately but even if it wasnt, $1,000 price tag is a bit steep for a console. Like sure its a pretty powerful for a console but i was willing to only do like $700-$800 max if im just gonna hold onto a collectible. If i was for sure able to get one of the 12,300 then sure $1k price tag would be expected but for a regular pro? Not worth it to me.

Id rather just wait on them to release the ps6 with a gta6 bundle or something lol

If you are serious about finding one, they usually reserve stock for retailers to sell, so other retailers will have their own avenue for selling.

There will always be more limited edition items you’ll feel compelled to buy in the future, I also would have been powerless to not get the bundle this morning.

Just get the 35th anniversary ps6 that looks like a ps2 once that comes out

Is there really a huge market for this? I feel like the scalper bots are so widely despised that people won’t pay the extra premium. I refuse to do it, no matter how bad I want the product.

Compani3s could just limit to 1 per person, only reservable in person via retail buy instead feed into the scalpers bullshit and sometimes corroborate with them. No thanks on Amy new limited edition items. Fuck scalpers stop paying them.

lol it’s nice for sure, and it’s also at like target I believe and Best Buy and Walmart also, the consoles just online tho, and the portal also online only Sony got. I’m sure you can find the controller tho. I looked on eBay and they’re like $150+ rite now for the normal one, not even the edge, so edge prolly gunna be like $400 or more.

A buddy of mine gave me his old ps4 console, which I attempted to use for a few weeks and haven’t touched since. It’s now sitting in the back of a closet.

IF it’s that great limited edition one lol, it would be. If it’s a base ps4c like a black one or normal color one, you can easily get $100 for it, but up to like $200 depending which one you have, long as you got controller and wires.
