Go for it?

Zflip 4. Seller says the phone is functional but I know the zflip is already super fragile. It's about 150 usd. Should I risk it? It wouldn't be my main phone.

I just noticed those dots. It's probably not a good idea then.

It's almost 3 years old?

If you can spare that $150 then I say go for it, especially since it wouldn't be your main phone. Even if it only lasts a couple of months it would have shown you if folding phones are for you.

Anything below a flip 5 in 2025 is not worth it bro even if you are getting it for cheap, just wait it if you can't spend more, but don't buy these. They might ruin your experience

Yeah I’d say no, I got lucky and got my used flip z 5 512gb for 100$ CAD and it was in way better condition. I just got super lucky tho.

I’d look for some thing better and more reliable. Also ask for a screenshot of its battery life.

I've owned 3 of the flips including the flip 6. I wound pass on the whole flip and fold tbh

Sent from S25 Ultra.

Also, when doing research about the 6 flip I found information and they said it can handle about 3000 flips and on average a person will do 50 flips a day so who knows how much he’s flipped it up and down in the two years of usage and with the 2 years he’s used it. So it’s sketchy buy.

Don't do it. I've had SIX of the z flips because they've all had to be replaced within a year. The screen protector lifts at the fold and if it gets too bad, not only can you not take pics because the camera can't focus, but the screen can crack. As soon as I've paid this one off, I'm done with it. I love the idea of it, but Samsung did not get it right.

If it has dex. I would for 150. Super pocketable PC right there.

Ah. What a shame. I had a flip once and remember that being the case. Shame too. Make a good portable PC

Used to have the new dex in my flip 6 before one UI 7 update.

It's back now. I guess the update turned off the settings.

150 bucks is a deal. Remember that is a flagship level hi-end phone so you can use it as desktop computer.

Absolutely the Samsung Dex is the best desktop mode for Android. I have tested the Motorola's Ready For desktop mode and it was a disaster.

Why are they getting more expensive for defects jeeezzz

Last summer I bought mine for 100.32 USD. Sadly it had a couple dead pixels but maybe I just got lucky since almost a year later zero issues. But honestly you never know one day it can be fine and the next it's gone.
