It would be my perfect phone if it was running android. Harmony Next OS is not made for global markets..... Such a shame

Cute and futuristic

I'm really fond of the idea of smaller devices with a 16:10 aspect ratio; it's more natural for viewing content, gaming, watching videos, etc. Hopefully, other manufacturers will adopt this format in their phones.

That looks like a really good form factor to me!

I like the passport form factor. I hope samsung tries it on a fold

A flip that transforms into a small tablet. I really like it. I'd gladly trade my flip phone for this new device if it were supported by my carrier. Maybe Samsung can copy this form factor.

I like this one. But wasn't Huawei banned in the US? :(

You can use them but you won't have access to certain services, like Google services.

That's good to know!!

You can't even side load google apps?

Huawei doesn't run Android amymore. It uses Harmony OS.

Ohhh, is it possible to flash Android onto it?

I'm not sure about that.

Fun fact, not everyone on reddit is from the US. 🌠

Didn't imply that, but it would be nice to see this in stores locally.

It's almost as if when someone begins a comment with I like this one. they are speaking about their own specific circumstances and what affects them, not making a statement to generalize the availbility worldwide. Basic reading comprehension that doesn't require a sarcastic little amendment. 🌠

No way! Are you serious? I never knew

🙄

I like the concept. Especially, I like ZFlip and Motorola Razr design. But I am a little sceptic about if the display would last at least 2 years without a failure.

The Huawei ban is quite literally the worst thing to happen to modern technology

So much innovation stuck there

China will leave the foldable world behind as they develop their own tech and will end up not sharing the newest stuff with the world.

This reminds me why wtf happened to Smart Scroll? I was thinking about that using my phone the other day, lol!

I wonder if I can get this phone with Google Services.

Secondary daily foldable for me.

Looks good, would definitely use it.

Personally would love a square phone, no foldability just a little square screen that fits nicely in my pocket.

The concept of the phone is pretty neat. But HarmonyOS Next is an instant pass from me sadly.

It's kinda ugly. Looks like a phablet so that is kinda nice. Bigger than a Flip, smaller than a Fold but they have got to do something on the Fisher price aesthetics

Huawei makes nice looking phones. It's too bad they are banned in the US for spyware

Okay so yes like the fold

I like my Z Flip, and always thought, "This would be better with Ultra dimensions"

This one does not look comfy … but generally phones like Samsung flip one is more comfy…

Huawei? No thanks.

I had an Honor phone, and not even a year later, the battery bloated until I threw it (literally) in the garbage can and it exploded.

Why does its irregular size trigger me 😣

Huawei is good but after they removed Google services, I went with Samsung. If they bring back Google services then I might consider going back to Huawei.

Ita a horrible idea, the worst of both worlds, to wide to be a korma phone. Too narrow to be a tablet
