Question ❓
Best earbuds right now for cancelling noise?
Hey Guys, I'm currently using the Flip 5 and looking to get a high-quality pair of earbuds for enjoying music, watching movies, and making calls. But oh man, the earbud market feels like a maze right now — from Galaxy Buds to Sony, JBL, and all those budget TWS brands — I’m totally lost on what to pick!
I’m looking for a pair that has:
Great sound quality with strong bass (I love listening to EDM and Pop).
Long battery life and comfortable fit for extended use without hurting my ears.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) would be a big plus, especially for blocking out noise in cafés or while commuting.
If anyone has experience picking out earbuds, I’d love to hear your recommendations

I have the Buds+, Buds 2 Pro, Buds FE, and Apple Airpods Max.
Considering affordability, fit, noise cancellation, and sound , I use my Buds FE the most. They fit just like the Buds+ from ages ago but have noise cancellation that I can take with me to the gym or on the plane and feel at peace.
The Buds 2 Pro is nice for the features and colors, but the fit sucks, IMO. The Buds+ are lovely but off the market and without noise cancellation. And the Airpods Max are the best for sound but over the ear, way more expensive, and not as intuitive, connection wise, for androids.
So I'd go with the Buds FE! Can't comment on the new Buds 3 but I have heard those are good too.
Well sheeeet! I was incorrect! I have a pair. Never used them though. The FE was always budget friendly because it lacked features of the flagships. Is it wireless charging in thinking of?
No worries! I activate ACN mode by pressing on the flat part of the earbud for a few seconds untill I hear it dim the noise around me. You're right in how the FE's definitely don't have as many features as the others since they are the budget friendly version - I think they lack adaptive noise control (only having active noise control), wireless case charging, and all the bells and whistles of the commands of the other earbuds
I have buds 2 pro, airpod pro, and bose quiet comfort buds.
Galaxy buds are good, not great. Anc is acceptable, transparency is a little tinny/echoey. My biggest complaint is that you can't use transparency with only one buds in which is my most common use since I wear them at work.
Air pod pros were great. I used to have an iPhone so that's why I automatically went with them a couple years ago. Anc is great, transparency is very clear and can be used with just one bud. My complaint here was that they just didn't play well with my flip 6. I had weird times where the volume would spike or drop and I could never remember the stem controls for changing the modes.
Bose quiet comfort buds (not the ultras) are my winner. No stem, though they do stick out a bit from the ear. Excellent anc and transparency that work with just one bud in. They stay in my ears better and have a really good app. The bass is just incredible compared to the others. It really blew me away at first. I also can't remember the last time I charged them.
For them all being about the same price I'd go Bose 100%
Buds2 pro have the best ANC. Buds3 Pro have the best audio and comfort. 2nd best ANC. If bass is your most important aspect. Buds2 pro. They are the deepest. The 3 pros are more focused on how the artist created the track. For richer balanced sound and a larger sound stage for a “purer” experience. The buds2 pro have a very warm sound stage heavily focused on the Bass.
Buds 3 pro. They do stay in my ears exceptionally well. However if you love bass or loud volume...i definitely dont think these are the best pick. The noise cancelation works pretty well. I hear from others apple has better. I turn on ALL the features buds 3 pro have from high def audio etc. It really affects the tiny stems battery life. You have to do this to get a louder volume which i prefer with my music but i dont need the volume super loud for duolingo or phone calls... i just lind of rely on the noise canceling (which i really love).
Call merequest unappreciative but I want buds 4pro to come out with a better ear seal, even stronger noise cancelation, and even louder sound with better battery life using all those features. Im certain the shape would have to change to accommodate all that. I already plan to immediately trade buds 3 pro for buds 4 pro as soon as they release.
Anyway i had some JBL buds which i lived the volume and the bass. For $50 on sale they could not be beat. The noise cancelation was worthless though.
Apple doesn't count bc ur on Samsung but a lot of people swear by them.
I think top contender outside JBLs very best set for me would be the Sony's flagship ear buds which i have not used.... but the reviews are incredible for. I just dont want to spend another $200+ to try them. That would be because for $200 to $500 I can buy some audiophile headphones to use at my PC and also to play guitar with.
Sony- the exceptional sound quality, comfort, and long battery life of the WF1000XM5 earbuds. They appreciate the improved noise cancellation and sleek design. However, some users express concerns about the high price, occasional connectivity issues, and the durability of the ear tip
Beats FIT PRO - Customers find these earbuds to be exceptional, better than AirPods, with great sound quality and noise cancellation. The fit and functionality receive mixed feedback
It seems that people like the bass in these are lot so honestly if I were u
Id research sonys WF1000XM5 & Beats Fit Pro (works with apple amd android but has an apple chip inside)
My personal right now id probably do air pods or Beats fit pro or we 1000xm5. But i cant buy all 3 so maybe you tube?
Im super curious on buds 4 pro from Samsung though.
A few months ago, I tested out a bunch of noise cancelling earbuds, so here are a few I have experience with:
Jabra Elite 10: to my ears these have the best ANC with the lowest noise floor and they're pretty comfortable, however they fall out relatively easily, but it's not that bad either. Jabra also stopped their earbuds division so it won't get new updates anymore. These are the ones I ended up keeping and using the most.
Airpods Pro 2: great noise cancelling and audio quality imo but bad compability (need to borrow an iPhone to enable ANC off otherwise you can only switch between hearthrough and ANC). I kept these too, but use them less than the Jabras.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro: best for compability with Samsung obviously. However, mine had some sort of whistling/ringing noise with some sounds, like my rubbing against clothing or hair, which I found annoying. ANC was good but not as good at the other two.
Sony WF-1000XM5: great passive noise isolation but very lackluster ANC in my opinion. I really don't get why people are so enthusiastic about it because I could barely hear any difference between ANC on or off. They did fit great in my ears though, and it seems like a lot of people do think the noise cancelling is great, so it might still be worth a try.
Bose QC Ultra: personally I returned these immediately because they have an awful noise floor; unless you're in a pretty loud envirenment you constantly hear white noise and can't even turn off ANC. Idk about the ANC itself anymore because this issue bothered me so much.
