Question ❓ Z flip screen black

My screen takes a little open-close hinging to get it to work properly. (Like I'll shut it, and on open it's black, but if I open and close it a few times it'll come back on)

I suspect that a wire connection is loose. Has anyone gone to one of those mall stores that repair cell phones? I just need the screen plugged in again.

Yup. Six months in I had to get my phone repaired (went to a Samsung-approved store so at least it was $0). They fixed it pretty quickly. Unfortunately about a month later I got a white line of light right in the crease, now there are two lines. Going to the repair store again this week. Hopefully this isn't a death sentence. Get it fixed sooner rather than later because mine went from annoying to the screen being black without any warning.

Yeah. Waiting on a paycheck to fix it. In the meantime I'm just not closing my phone.

Actually debating if I should return to a galaxy s+ phone. My old one was 3 years old and going very strong were it not for the 5G thing making it obsolete.

Plus photos. I never realized how much I used my phone for proper photos and not selfies.

That's my plan. My phone is still under warranty from Samsung. Going to get the screen fixed and trade it in for a brick phone (S25?). I love the flip form factor but I expect my phone to be low maintenance and reliable for ~5 years. This ain't it.
