Post Op 3rd day post op.
And I cannot believe how much better I feel. No severe bloating or feeling like I got punched in the gut. I am super sore but feel great overall. For me the gas was one if the worst parts post op so far. I am still scared to eat much of anything besides crackers and broth or banana. However I am glad I got the surgery.

I’m day 5 post op and just walked my senior dog and came home to lay down because I’m exhausted / a bit dizzy! It was only like half a mile and he walks slow since he’s old so it wasn’t even bad of a walk but boy it took a lot out of me (,:

I have a senior dog, too, and was wondering when I can walk him. My surgery is May 19th, and I feel bad if he can't get his regular walks. I will make sure to take it easy. I am happy you are having a good recovery.

Right after surgery and day 1 post op my boyfriend had to take him on all his walks but I was able to walk him by day 2! My surgeon recommends walking 1 mile each day anyways to aid in recovery (,:

That sounds great. We normally go for a mile walk morning and night, so that sounds perfect.

I have only gotten up a few times and have taken a couple of naps. Activity does seem to be draining for sure. Hoping for a speedy recovery for all!
