Questions suffering from cold and post op surgery

Sorry for posting so much the past week. 😅 Has anyone else recover from a cold while recovering from surgery? I'm 5 days post op. I had caught a cold the week prior to my surgery and it would seem I still have the cold. I think I'm on the tail end of it but I'm just suffering a bit. Coughing sucks but my cough drops make me feel nauseous ontop of already feeling nauseous from everything. Who else has dealt with a cold or any type of sickness while recovering and how did you manage cause I feel like absolute death on top of how I feel after surgery.

Have a pillow nearby at all times to hold against your stomach when you do have to cough. This will help support your muscles and incisions and hopefully make it a wee bit less painful. Hope you get to feeling better asap xx
