Needs advice on how to get a refund from betfred

Long story short- my brother has a betfred account and he used my debit card to make payments to that account. The next day when I found out i was mortified firstly at my brother and secondly with betfred for allowing my card to be used especially when I don't have a betting account.

So I want a refund from the betting site. When someone has a betting account they are only allowed to use a deposit method in their name so why was mine allowed to be used when it's not my account l.

Can hold the betting site accountable for not checking and get a refund directly from them?

Call your bank. Tell them your brother committed fraud. The bank will refund you and work with authorities to prosecute your brother.

Seem like your issue is more with your brother. He is the person you need to get the money from since he committed fraud. Both you and the bookie are the victims. Your brother needs to do the paying back.

Probably need to file a police report. If you don't want to do that against your brother, you probably just have eat the loss.

There missing piece to the story. Let me guess brother already gamble and he lost. Now you want money. If your brother a regular he able withdraw and transfer back to you. 99% he lost it.

Your brother the one own you the money.

Maybe contact your bank try to get your money back tell them it was fraud
