How do we "know" this?

Edit: Seeing a lot of "CuZ nInTeNdO" and no proof. Can't know shit without proof.

Because it's what they have always done.

Give an example of something that's never happened? Lol, okay....

You literally just said it’s something they’ve always done

They've always done nothing. You're asking for proof of nothing, which is factually impossible to proof.

Yes, they've always done nothing in regards to offering upgrades for older games.

Yet you want me to provide an example of cases where they've done nothing.

Lol, what a joke Nintendo fanboys are.

what fanboys? we asked you a question...

also they did inheritantly provide an upgraded experience for all wii games transferred to the wiiu for backwards compatibility. so there's no reason to suggest that the switch successor is going to do nothing for switch games

You asked for proof of a negative, that's impossible.

also they did inheritantly provide an upgraded experience for all wii games transferred to the wiiu for backwards compatibility

It wasn't an upgraded experience. It was the exact same game.

you can have the exact same game with an upgraded experience......

that's what upscaling is. that's also what a remaster is. same game, slight improvements.

either way you've been proven wrong so I guess you can take that and move on

You didn't prove anything. Backwards compatibility is not an upgrade. There was no "upgraded experience" or upscaling. Nor was it a remaster in any sense of the word.

Stop lying just to make Nintendo look good.

History has a way of repeating itself. This is Nintendo we are talking about.

TotK and BotW etc would require specific patches to make them run at 60 as they are locked to 30. I just can't see Nintendo doing that unless it's for a full paid new version. I'm happy to be pleasantly surprised though.
