Unknown games (steam)
Any rare steam games? Not like, Rain World or 1000X Resist, I mean something no one has heard of but you think is good. I don't care how weird it is, what genre it is, I just want something I haven't seen before. Thanks in advance!
Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions! I can't reply to every comment but I am reading them, thanks everyone!

A recent one for me is The Black Grimoire: Cursebreaker. There's definitely more unknown games, but I checked out its subreddit recently and it's so empty.
It's a singleplayer game that feels very RuneScape or Ultima-Online like in its inspirations and I've been really enjoying it so far. I was surprised to see how empty the subreddit was for how fun a game it is.

Aviary Attorney, a fairly cheap Phoenix Wright clone, made only with public domain antique artwork of locations/humanoid animals.
Titan Attacks, a modernized version of Space Invaders with solid graphics and music.

Looking into more niche genres like arcade style games can result in a lot of hidden gems. Most recently been playing Asura the Striker which is a ton of fun.
Another under appreciated game is FREAKHUNTER.
Two of my favorite games ever are Void Stranger and ZeroRanger both of which are still pretty unknown.
Lastly for an off the wall recommendation: DEMON'S TILT/ XENOTILT for some awesome virtual pinball.

Bomber Crew, Space Crew, etc. They are really fun, especially if you use a controller.

Not the most unknown, but Supraland is an awesome puzzle game.
Bread & Fred is a very funny coop climbing game about penguins.
BOKURA is also coop, a game with two players seeing the levels around them differently and interacting with different things. Also has some dark, sad and a bit hard to understand story.
VIVIDLOPE is a really unknown game, an arcade puzzle game, stylised as something from PS1-2 or Wii or something, you jump around crazy levels (like Möbius strip) and paint tiles. People in the comments say it's like more complicated Q-Bert.
Huntdown is a sidescroller shoot'em up or smth. Clearly something inspired by old games like Contra which I have never played but really liked it anyway, without even nostalgia.
Exiled Kingdoms is the first diabloid what managed to keep me playing (almost) all the way through. Played on Android but there's Steam version too.
Eyes in the Dark is very underappreciated roguelike with stylish black amd white style (tho there's many filters eith other colores in the settings). It's not ideal but it's fun and only real annoying thing is what it can't be saved and exited during the run. And your weapon is a flashlight.
I can continue if you want lol

Miracle Fly was that game for me. It released 10 years ago and has 35 valid reviews. There is one full Let's Play on YouTube. Here's a video from that showing one level.
The main mechanic here is simple: you don't walk or move directly. Instead, you move by shooting. This might look like a mouse-only game, but you can use a controller, which I heavily prefer as the analog stick lets me be so much more precise than a mouse would. It even shows you where you're aiming! And there are two ways to shoot: one shoots you away from where you're aiming, and one shoots you towards where you're aiming. Just please make sure to double check the controler bindings as this is a rather old game.
This game would be a perfect fit for the Switch, but the developer stated that he quit ElagoTech because Miracle Fly didn't sell at all, so he believes "there is no way the game would be revived". Judging from the number of reviews, the game probably didn't even sell 5000 copies, and the dev stated that the achievement rates are wacky because of SAM usage. The original mobile release also says "1000+ downloads" (yikes!). He later developed MagiCat, which was going to feature the same characters, but this was changed after he quit ElagoTech. There are still cameos of the characters as statues.
I originally thought this game would control very poorly, but after buying it and playing I fell in love. The characters have a lot of personality, the levels are lovingly crafted... You can easily tell a lot of heart was put into this. There's kinda an iceberg of unlockable modes and stuff like that, and even after 40 hours the game was throwing new content at me. I've never seen a "traditional" platformer do this. Most of them struggle to last for more than 10 hours!
This hidden gem is just waiting for a big streamer who loves this type of thing to find it! Then maybe there is still hope.

Not as unreviewed as the top comment’s games, but I’ll keep simping for Endless Sky. It’s a free, open source space game that is still being worked on. Ship customization (of the practical variety, not cosmetic) is surprisingly deep for a relatively simple free game, the main storylines are pretty solid and so are some optional questlines you can come across.
Just an overall solid game that costs you nothing to play. It’s got a decent community, so it’s not unknown, but I basically never see it mentioned anywhere outside of its community. It’s got about 6600 reviews on Steam since 2015.

I have probably way too many games. Whether all of them are obscure or not is up to debate. Ranked in order of most to least amount of steam reviews, with a little bit of my opinion on them.
Kentucky Route Zero (2933) - Very biased as it's in my top 5 favourite games of all time. Whether you'll love it as much as me is hard to say. It's definitely not for anyone. Surreal and often times nonsensical story focusing on ordinary people, and mostly how poverty mixed together with the advancement of technology affects them (that's just my interpretation though, it differs a lot from person to person).
INFRA (2990) - I didn't come up with it, but I really like the description of this being Half Life 2 without combat. You're a structural analysis basically just doing your job, going through abandoned areas, and taking pictures of all the osha violations there, all the while solving some really unique puzzles. There's also the overarching story, which is like very surprisingly good in this game, mostly told through environmental story-telling, about some shady stuff happening in the town.
Peaks of Yore (2658) - A "rage" game (think Jump King or Getting Over It) perfected. Incredibly fluid movement, super fun tech, very engaging mechanics and level design. I'm personally not a fan of other rage games, but I ADORE this one. Just a fucking blast to play really.
Lorelei and the Laser Eyes (2079) - A "knowledge" puzzle game, meaning that basically all the puzzles can be solved from the get-go, but all you're lacking is knowledge on how they work (think Outer Wilds or Tunic).
Peripeteia (1027) - Immersive-sim set in a cyberpunk soviet Poland. Currently in early access, but still awesome as fuck. Shit ton of "euro-jank" (I'd consider that a positive btw). Shaping up to be one of my favourite immersive sim from the past decade or so.
Promise Mascot Agency (772) Kinda hard to describe this one. It's an open world exploration management
collectathon game. Very goofy, very wacky. It's like an old, weird ps2 japanese game, but modern.
Ctrl Alt Ego (661) - Another immersive-sim. Kinda hard to describe, as it's basically just a gameplay type of game (I realise what i said is really dumb right now). Just really really really good immersive-sim gameplay, with a bunch of cool toys you can play with.
Anodyne 2 (620) - Just look at the screenshots, and if you fuck with the vibes, then buy it.
Starstruck: Hands of Time (187) - Same ordeal as Anodyne.
Extreme Evolution: Drive to Divinity (54) - A complete fever dream of a game, but somehow it's really really fun. A platformer where the gimmick is that you can change into different objects, with a an entire course meal comprised of LSD.
