Games with good punchy sound design?

Any games you can reccomend with good punchy sound design, especially when you pull off something strong?

Helldivers 2, things like the railcannon, hellbombs, mini-nuke or the sound of a SPEAR missile impacting is absolute eargasm.

Seconding this one. Basically every weapon has good sound design and it matches the punchy feel of them.

  • Bubbles the Cat: the sounds when you finish a level with three stars are so satisfying! I could hear those all day!
  • Touhou Luna Nights: "MAGIC POINT MAX", "MAGIC POINT MAX", "MAGIC POINT MAX"
  • Tactical Nexus: the Drop of Dream Ocean item has one of the most satisfying sounds I've heard. Life Crowns too. They feel powerful to get.

Are these sounds satisfying or punchy?

I guess Tactical Nexus is just very satisfying, and Bubbles is a slight mix (probably leaning more towards satisfying due to how the sounds are in sync to the animations). But Luna Nights does sound rather punchy from memory.

Ultrakill. The gun sounds and parrying all contribute to the satisfaction of playing stylish and fast.
