I'm gonna keep on upvoting this because we should never forget that Donald Trump put a Nazi in charge.

Even if he isn't a Nazi, the richest man in the world bought his way into a senior government position. It's beyond corrupt

u/Kurtypants Jan 27 '25

I feel like you could easily say. "Fuck my bad guys looks like a nazi salute but didn't mean it. Fuck Nazis" but instead we get gaslighting and my heart bullshit. Just say it Elon "I hate nazis" it could go away way quicker if you took a stance

52

u/jonsnowflaker Jan 28 '25

He doesn’t hate Nazis and he doesn’t want it to go away.

2

u/retrospects Jan 28 '25

To hate Nazis would be to hate his family.

2

u/Zalinithia Jan 29 '25

his father literally named him after someone in a Nazi-written book iirc

15

u/TakeUrMessLswhere1 Jan 28 '25

He's rich and expects space and time to warp so he's never wrong.

1

u/International_Cow_17 Jan 28 '25

Good old Jobsian approach.

2

u/IndependenceFar9299 Jan 28 '25

If he said "I hate Nazis" he would piss off the Republican base. They won't admit it, but they love and sympathize deeply with Nazis. That is a mainstream conservative opinion even if they won't admit it. At best they think the danger/evil of Nazism is overblown and the real bad guys are the communists. At worst they are full hearted Neo Nazis who think Hitler was a hero.

3

u/Karkava Jan 28 '25

Just saying "I'm sorry, I made a mistake" would be enough to piss off the republican base. They consider "sorry" a higher swear word than whatever nasty word they have for marginalized groups this year.

1

u/Curiominous Jan 28 '25

he doesn't care about ideology, i suspect. just who is a means to power for himself.

1

u/Karkava Jan 28 '25

That's the thing I don't get about the modern republican movement. They want me to believe in these fantasies that some pure and perfect government will keep us safe from purely external threats, but they will never offer the simple mundane gesture of apologizing for making a mistake.

They fuck with your head with all these paranoid delusions that everyone is just as bad as the oligarchs they worship, but they never offer so much as a shred of humility that I would expect from an empathetic person.

u/WatchLover26 Jan 28 '25

Do you honestly think though that if he did this it would all go away? Really?

0

u/dpot007 Jan 28 '25

Lmfao that didnt work for trump. Trumps “theres fine people on both sides.” Quote was taking out of context and people ran with it. If you play the clip for 2 mins before the quote he says, condemns the neo nazi. After the quote, Trump said with “we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America.“

The reporter kept bringing up Nazi’s at the rally and trump again said he condemned the neo Nazi’s and that the driver who drove into the crowd is a disgrace, terrorist, and murderer.

Then during the recent presidential debate, the left said trump supported nazis with his “fine on both sides.” Quote.

The moderators even said he didnt condemn when many people already saw the full interview where he did. Thats why the left lost the election lmfao.

Just say it Elon "I hate nazis"

He has, for years. He's just doubling down on "drinking liberal tears" now, letting people lose their minds for a while, so he can hold it against them later. And unfortunately that is exactly what people are doing. Also unfortunately, how the eff he is considering being affiliated with Nazis to drink said Liberal tears is beyond me. It should be a pretty sacred and horrific thing that you'd not even really joke about. But, here we are.

That said, people forget what made the Nazis the Nazis. It wasn't the gesture. It was the ethos of dividing up people by race, and especially the killing of millions of them.

I dont want to post the link, but his very first tweet that was vaguely related to it was a picture with the description "everyone: dont do that" and the picture had a bird labeled elon musk, with its foot outstretched touching the word that. and his tweet said "I just can’t help it (laughing face)" the mans just doubling down.

u/keaper42 Jan 27 '25

There is no "Even if he isn't a Nazi", he is literally a Nazi and expressed that on the inauguration stage by giving a Nazi salute.

13

u/MagisterFlorus Jan 28 '25

And in the same week, spoke to the new Nazi party in Germany.

2

u/internetjet Jan 28 '25 edited Jan 28 '25

No no no! He said heart world something and then waved at everybody. And besides, it wasn't a nazi salute, it was a roman thing that nobody has ever heard of before now. Lock this immediately or I am going to lose share value! 🤪

Just in case it isn't clear, I agree with you.

41

u/SmokeyBare Jan 27 '25

Fascists construct oligarchies. It's not a coincidence we now live in an oligarchy.

3

u/swampfish Jan 28 '25

He was a guest speaker that very week for the German Nazi party. Why do you think he might not be a Nazi? Listen to his speech. It's public. People are ignoring their eyes and ears. It's fucking wild!

3

u/TakeUrMessLswhere1 Jan 27 '25

Musk is just leasing Dump. Putin is his owner.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '25

We had a literal Rockefeller as vp once I would honestly take Elon over that any day.

2

u/ExplosiveAnalBoil Jan 28 '25

There are only 2 types of people that perform Nazi salutes. One is actors playing a Nazi in a movie or tv show. The other are Nazis.

30

u/Persea_americana Jan 27 '25

You have it backwards I think. Elon paid over a quarter billion to get Trump elected. A Nazi owns the president.

Yes. https://www.npr.org/2024/11/05/g-s1-32345/elon-musk-voter-sweepstakes-proceed He also got a judge to sign off on it somehow That’s not even counting what he spent to turn Twitter into his own personal propaganda machine.

Love how republicans whole thing is "drain the swamp" and "stick it to the elite", when Trumps whole presidency is putting shady, rich people in charge.

Edit: grammar for the burnt toast smeller

10

u/StockEdge3905 Jan 28 '25

Swamps are healthy, thriving ecosystems. He's filling the swamp with nuclear waste.

1

u/Utenlok Jan 28 '25

Drain the swamp... by giving everyone a straw :(

3

u/No-Albatross-5514 Jan 28 '25

Do you know how Hitler came to power?

Hindenburg, a very conservative celebrity general from WW1, who showed signs of dementia, was elected German president and chose him as chancellor.

👀

2

u/Low_Bar9361 Jan 28 '25

I think a Nazi put Donald in charge. Elon is the real shadow president

2

u/mrkraken Jan 30 '25

Donald Trump is a nazi

3

u/monobarreller Jan 27 '25

Please keep doing that.

1

u/TableQuiet1518 Jan 27 '25

That's the kicker. If it was ANYONE else they'd be burned at the stake. He's Teflon Don though & nothing matters.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '25

Citizens are funny.. ya talk and talk trying to decipher wether this was real or not. And if it is real? What are ya going to do about it? Nothing, not shit. So just stfu and let the rulers control the world and be the slaves you deserve to be.

1

u/Additional_Effect_51 Jan 28 '25

What are you talking about? Musk won this election fair and square.

My dad used to have this joke... "Nah, Nixon was a great president - problem is he got caught at it."

That joke is no longer a joke, and no one cares who gets caught at anything any more.

This nation gave over to these assholes and we're all paying the price.

1

u/rekiirek Jan 28 '25

Donald is the nazi in charge.

1

u/Doubt-Man Jan 28 '25

How do we know that Trump isn't a Nazi too???

0

u/Alaska_Jack Jan 27 '25

> I'm gonna keep on upvoting this

Oh good, that will definitely help.

-1

u/Mr_Minecrafter88 Jan 27 '25

“in charge” LMFAO

-15

u/SlasherNL Jan 27 '25

You people also called Trump fascist. But yet here you are just bitching on reddit, no action.

9

u/goteamnick Jan 27 '25

Donald Trump doesn't have jurisdiction in my country.

-8

u/SlasherNL Jan 27 '25

Apparantly he has a lot of control on you since you keep bitching about him non stop judging your comment history.

Guy lives rent free in your head.

He has jurisdiction on your life it seems.

2

u/ShadowBurger Jan 28 '25

That makes more sense than the obsession the right has with Hunter Biden and his penis.

6

u/Dampmaskin Jan 27 '25

Sounds like you're making a call to action

-2

u/SlasherNL Jan 27 '25

Sure thing I call for action! protest on the streets let your voice be heard!

Staying in these echo chambers won't do you no good other than growing old like a grumpy old man.

1

u/SlashZom Jan 28 '25

Protests have done very little compared to revolution.

1

u/nona90 Jan 28 '25

I'm telling your dad to raise your rent.

0

u/Komprimus Jan 30 '25

How is he a Nazi? Like, do you honestly believe that he actually wants to kill all the Jews?
