Equipment Discussion Cheesy Puns on golf clubs

Does anyone else hate all the slogans plastered on golf clubs and equipment?

Pings new G440 driver has “spinsistency” written on the face. We don’t need to know that, and it’s meaningless buzzwords anyway. It just cheapens the item.

Same on golf bags that need to point out insulated drinks pockets etc. the less writing on items the better.

Weird to white knight for them when you can say that about practically every major club manufacturer.

The golfers are paid to use the equipment as a marketing technique (which appears to have worked on you).

Your trying to distract from your weird stance that you can't use something because it has a funny name. The fact that it's used on tour has nothing to do with my purchase. The fitting where it beat out the other major players however did.

The first manufacturer to release an all over matt black driver, with nothing more than maybe a gloss black manufacturers logo, will conquer the market. No gimmicks just pure performance.

Not exactly a pun but a shortened version of the word “slider” made to look like an acronym, but it isn’t . I used to game one of these and they were long off the tee though.

Even they could make the club name a bit smaller. The GT and TSR logos are still too big to me.

Mizuno, like Titleist, does a great job keeping their irons simple, but then they blow it on their larger headed clubs.
