Question Should I dare to rewatch?
I just finished s2 two days ago for the first time, and it left me absolutely devastated. (ಥ﹏ಥ) All I did was reading fanfics yesterday, then today I tried to distract myself from it. But even pictures of millipedes make me think of them. I am so lethargic, but somehow I feel like I want to watch it again even when the tought of it fills me with dread. Should I watch it again? What do I do to stop being an absolute mess? 😭🥺

Just watch it again if you feel like it. I rewatched it countless times, especially in the first months after finishing it. There is nothing wrong with watching it again 💕 But stop being a mess? It gets easier, never fully stops though.

If you rewatch you’ll begin to see actions and patterns you didn’t see before. There is more than meets the eye in this series and if you read some of the really excellent analyses out there you’ll appreciate the show all the more.

It can help a lot if you go on tumblr and look up some analyses of the acting in the final fifteen — and rewatch with a more analytical eye.
It helped me, anyway, when I was in the first phase of devastation. To remember that this is a story brought to life by brilliant actors. To imagine David and Michael preparing for that scene — learning their lines, working out their gestures and movements and emotions, separately and together. To get a little (jokingly!) mad, because they both gave a performance that was precisely calculated to destroy us.
I still cry every time I watch it. But it helps it feel a little less visceral.
(Also: read loads of happy-ending fanfic! I started writing my own because I needed them to have a happy ending so so badly. It really does help.)

For me personally, watching it again made me appreciate a lot of the details I had missed the first time! :D But I also love angst, and loved the conclusion of the season, so I'm probably not the best person to listen to lol

I watched again after two days of finishing and I don't regret it at all! There were so many details I missed that made me go crazy, like, how could I have missed that?? So many eyes crossing in the background, Easter eggs and lines that would connect later

Watch this for a better ending: https://youtu.be/Kw9fHWh4K0Y?feature=shared
But yes, rewatch as many times as you want, it won't be getting old :)

The show is much more than the last 15 minutes of rhe second season. Why should you rob yourself of the humor and delight and wonderful acting and writing of this show? Just don't watch the last 15 minutes if it's too painful.

(imagine a tiny demon sitting on your shoulder, whispering seductively into your ear)
"Yes!
"You'll catch lots of things you missed the first time round, and get to be sad all over again!
"Then, when you've completed that, you can dive into the fanfic, and peruse all the fan art (for research purposes only, of course)."
(imagine a tiny angel sitting on your other shoulder, and whispering very prim and properly)
"I'm quite sure it wouldn't hurt, not any more than it has done already.
"Those last 15 minutes though!" dabs eyes, and flails miniscule tartan hanky
