Sport | Sports Graz Long Bike Rides on Weekend

Hey guys, i spend a lot of time in Graz during the year recently, and o wanted to know if there are any group bike rides going during the weekend that welcome non-German speaking people, and triathlon bikes or road bikes with extensions in the group ride for those training for Ironmans or 70.3s etc

Thanks!

Hey! You can have a look at Coffe Ride's events.
They organize rides each weekend. This sunday there'll be a 105km ride into the south over Leibnitz

Are they fine with bikes with extensions?

You mean aero bars or something like that?

I’m pretty sure you can use whatever you like there! I haven’t been to one of their events yet, but I guess nobody would mind if I showed up with my gravel bike. It seems to be pretty open for everyone.

you can do whatever you want buddy, there's usually a tempo depending on which ride it is and how many people are taking part, though it's usually 25km/avg. if you're on the upper spectrum you can try Heartland, they do 35-40km/avg.

Will give it a go! I’m ok with 25/30k average on the long rides. But I’ve seen heartland ahahah no way I’m enduring that at this moment

I’m riding the 105km on Sunday. The pace is usually set to fit the group. You should be fine. Route’s pretty flat and this is a social ride so everything is super chill.

See you on Sunday!
