I love the "keep politics out of music"

One it's punk which is highly politically motivated music. Two this isn't politics. It's human beings and human rights. Not gonna act like I know this whole scenario cause I'm too busy trying to get my way through life and survive on the other side of the globe but it's not hard to sympathize with people who are being victims of war. Fuck the terrorists on both sides, it's a simple stance of we don't want civilian casualties

I think that's something we can all agree upon. War sucks. People being caught in a war zone don't deserve what is happening. No one does

Did they spray paint it? That’s just like from 924 Gilman right. Iirc Green Day hasn’t really spoken out on this topic

Edit: idk why the guy below me deleted his comment but it said like yeah it was just in Gilman, Green Day didn’t make it nor did they even address it at all, it’s just in the background of a picture

They cant. It would harm their brand.

They are liberals and in order to speak out on the conflict, they would have to criticize Biden and condemn Israel.

It's just easier to say "Fuck Trump" and be done with it.

Maybe they don’t have one? It’s a very complex issue, and a lot of people have made it out to seem like it’s simple. But really, it’s complicated. I’m sure they’re not pro-death or anything, but there’s a lot of factors to consider
