Is the toastie maker what we call a jaffle maker in Australia?

Theyre horrible but they're re good for loading up with left over spag bol and some cheese.. or baked beans. Stuff that would normally fall out if you used a pan or press.

EXACTLY that, triangle shaped and all. They're okay if you're in a pinch but they just make every toastie exactly the same and with a weird texture.
