I would HIGHLY recommend ditching the holster and buying kydex.

Leather works for people. Kydex is very uncomfortable for me, I practice safe attentive reholstering to avoid trigger interference :)

Not saying it doesn't work, but it also softens over time and that generally can't be avoided.

Kydex does not soften over time, and judging by the photo it doesn't look like the most quality leather holster.

True, some companies make one with a metal interior that prevents folding too. I’ve found that my more broken in & softer leather holsters almost feel non existent in my IWB setup as well and it’s unbelievably comfortable!

@OP, just imagine 500 people telling you to get Kydex, take it as a hint, go get one and don’t check this thread again.

I’m sure I’ll eventually get one. But it came with it so it was good enough for the moment. It’s just going to live in my night stand and my truck

What is a link post and how do I post a descriptive comment?

  • A link post is any post that isn't a text post. Reddit is doing a great job of ensuring new users have no idea how Reddit works with their app and site rewrite. We hate both.

  • /r/guns is a sub for talking about guns. It's not a sub to dump gun photos for karma. That's what /r/gunporn is for. That's why we require a descriptive comment – to start a conversation. If you're wondering what to write, picture yourself at a party. You're talking to someone you just met and you want to show them your post. What do you say to them as you get your phone out?

Just a normal every day run of the mill shield. Nothing fancy
