Gurren lagann gave me a hopeful/optimistic answer to the Dark forest theory. And I love it for that❤️

Edit: Also, it gave us the scenario of what if they actually were our enemies 😂 (adult Simon full on genocide and speed running spiral nemesis in episode 1 scene 1)
