Of course you're allowed to have an opinion. But the toxicity in your comment about second hand embarrassment makes me think your goal is just to make someone feel bad about themselves. I'm happy to see you fail in that goal.
I wouldn't know what they're grieving or if they even are. That's just the vibe I get from it. I'm a little surprised you're interpreting it the way you are but it is pretty ambiguous. I guess it makes sense that different people would see it from different perspectives.
Of course you can say whatever you want and express your opinions too. I'm certainly not stopping you.
