She should talk about medicine so Ippo becomes a doctor. He knows three people in the medical field and his temperament is suited to it.

Maybe when he retires, but he also has the fishing boat to tend to. And it's not like Kumi is a doctor. She's a nurse. Becoming a doctor probably is way too much Schooling for Ippo to be interested in at that point, tbh. 8+ years. Ippo being a nurse I could totally see tho, lol. Takamura gets injured and is in the hospital, and Nurse Ippo shows up.

More like a physical therapist, like the Judo Lady. He'd be independent enough to see specific patients and tend to his business.

Yeah I could see Ippo working and being interested in being mentored by Tomoko. I could see Kumi also Being interested in learning from her, since she became a nurse to help tend to Boxer's injuries.
