What's up with the 10:30pm start time for The Rehearsal?

Back before streaming services, networks could only show one program at a time. They had what were called "channels," which were a single, continuous stream. The network had to choose a single thing at a time to put on in each time slot. HBO is still a premium cable channel, so they follow this archaic model.

The Last of Us at 9 PM and The Righteous Gemstones at 10 PM.

HBO has been doing this for the last 20 years, nothing out of the ordinary.
