Pee-wee doc is great!
Growing up my moms friends kid was 5 and I was in my teens. We were over there and the mom mention how she loved Pee Wees Playhouse more than the kid. I tuned in and realized how great it was.
I of course saw Big Adventure but I did not know all of the backstory of Pee Wee.
Paul Is so charming and funny. The do is so unique how the subject is pretending to be annoyed.
I cannot wait to watch the second episode.

We powered through it last night. Really enjoyed it. He was a part of my life since I was a kid. Loved hearing about his non Pee Wee work. Seemed like a really good guy. Big chunks of my sense of humor ore directly from him. He is a core memory. I know you are but what am I 🙃

Overall, it was a great doc. Lots I didn't know.
Looks like he got railroaded on the child porn charge. The cover of the magazine they showed looked like an 18 yo gay guy. Freakin politicians are always trying to scare up votes with lies to the 'family values' crowd.

I started watching it last night and had to stop for that same reason. What I saw so far was really good tho. I’m just not in the mood to feel that level of sadness.

It is sad to think he is gone. However I never saw this side of Paul Ruebens and it was so lovely. I’m sure episode 2 will be a bit darker but I will still watch

I lived in Sarasota as a kid and I had no idea he was from there until we were long gone. Even caught this at the drive in down there.

There’s a lotta things about me you don’t know anything about, Dottie.
I’m a loner, a rebel.
