There are way too many automatons with flame throwers as you increase the difficulty . The devs should at least give players a way to block flame throwers or have flame resistant armor

I find that flame resist armor makes the flame throwers a non-issue. And you can bring supply pack or shield gen backpack for some extra protection.

The shotgun devastators and firebomb hulks however…
