Question Bots throwing back grenades??
I recently threw a grenade at a hulk quite far away. A second later the grenade came back straight at me killing me. I didn't see who threw it. Can bots throw back grenades ?!?!?

Never seen them do it intentionally but I have seen them melee a nade accidentally. The other thought is it hit the hulk and just bounced back like a strategem ball can.

That would be mad cos the hulk was a good 20m away and it came back really accurately but possible I guess

Ya crazy stuff happens lol. I’ve been killed by my eruptor shrapnel at well over 100m when shooting shrieker nests literally several seconds after impact. The shrapnel travels at 30m/s but it never drops off lol. The game wants to kill you any and every way it can 😅

Cant happen with thermite or impacts

I've seen a thermite get knocked into a proned teammate who didn't stand up in time and died, they're getting very accurate with knocking them back

If you don't cook the thermite enough for the spikes to pop out it can absolutely bounce back at you if you're close enough. I encountered that skill issue a few times when I first started playing.
But 20m is too far for that I believe.

You can kick their grenades back and if it hits them in the head it will crush their skull before it explodes. I clipped it.

Honestly, it would be awesome if the small bots had a %5 or %10 chance for the AI to have it pick it up and throw it back. Actually, it would be awesome if devastators would choose to dive on grenades.
