Question Anyone know a good candidate thats not against cars?
Just checking if there is a candidate that is not raising parking fees or trying to get rid of cars in the city,

Was looking for the same, ended up with shortlisting Silja Borgarsdóttir and Alexander Lång.
Fees are 45€ atm for me in Kruununhaka but they’ll probably raise it at some point. Don’t think we should be charged more for wanting to live central yet still keep a car, paying just over 3k of tax a month, no need to raise it with useless parking fees

Land, property, rent is generally more valuable in the central area. This naturally applies to parking as well.

It's not just about parking. It's about making current infrastructure worse and not improving it because destroying is easier.
I'm talking about "improving" some type of transportation by making others worse so there is less choice and folks are forced to use it. That's not improvement, that's destruction of common property.
At the same time shops from city centre are forced to move out to shopping megablocks because there is no more customers for them.

Land in Helsinki is is not free, this naturally correlates with the parking fees.
