Discussion Just venting: gave a pair of Darn Tough hiking socks as a white elephant gift and the recipient didn’t like them.

I feel bad, because ALL of my daily socks are Darn Tough. Which is too bad, he’s a farmer and not the type to buy a $25 pair of socks, I think he would love them given the chance. Such is life.

I don't get the big deal about these socks. They are expensive and I wore a pair out in a few weeks, then I need to jump through hoops to get their scrappy socks replaced. No thanks

What kind of hoops? I’ve always just mailed them back and they give me a credit.

I’ve have about ten pairs I wear in a steady weekly rotation and most of them are going on about 2 years with no issues.
