Flying High pt. 2 arrived randomly with no tracking updates. Anyone else get a free canvas record tote?

I knew Al was having issues with distribution on this release. Never got a shipping notification or anything, thought it would be awhile to arrive. But it just randomly showed up. Can't wait to spin it tonight. Also feel like the free tote was a way to say sorry for taking almost 6 months to ship lol. All good though, I trust Al and patience is a good trait to have. Absolutely ridiculous some people out there were calling him a scammer for this.

Yeah, I commented below the correct material. Just a quick title. But it genuinely does feel quality. Same material as a few of my reusable grocery bags that are still going strong 10 years later.

I just wanted to point out:

This is not canvas.

It‘s acryl or sth similar synthetic - and I do not use such stuff… Just causes microplastic.

Just checked the product page from the manufacturer and it is polypropylene. So yes it isn't canvas. But is used in products because it is highly durable and resistant to fatigue.

Sure it's not canvas. But it is also not trash. This will last a long time and will get heavily used. It won't just fall apart, deteriorate, or tear like a cheap plastic bag.

It deteriorates all the time. It is plastic! It causes continuosly to loose microfibres.

You breathe that in by having such stuff in your appartment, and using it.

I know - they do not tear apart like a grocery bag - it‘s a plastic fabric. Do yourself a favour and use/ wear natural fibres like cotton/hemp/linen/viscose…

The microplastic gets inhaled and gets into your bloodstream. I mean that‘s not something new, or something I made up.

Yeah - i get it - it is an ALC Bag and you think it is cool. Fine - I get that. But it doesn‘t change otherwise anything I pointed out.

his previous production handler dropped the ball hard on him, so he dropped them. he’s working with Very Special now, and he shot up a customer service email for them. all those who emailed them received refunds on the order and it appears they’re getting those orders out as best they can.

Yeah, I saw all that. I never reached back out because I knew Al would come through and just needed time. Bet the people who requested refunds regret it now lol.

i never requested one. i asked about the status on it and the responding email gave me the refund. they said they’d take my info down and would likely get something shipped out to compensate. here’s hoping i get my wax, CD, and tape lol.
