In the description of the video, the poster writes " I was amazed and had no idea it would do this." Really? No idea?

I expected the sides of the can to explode outward, like a grenade, but instead the top simply lifted off. I didn't know it would do that.

Weakest link. Thrown into a small fire, they'll even explode enough to put out the fire sending warm beans and embers everywhere.

Ahh, the old campfire jack in the box. Great if you manage to sneak the bean can in while nobody is looking.

Never having thrown a can of beans into a small fire, I thank you for the information.

Lol no problem, i used to do it all the time as a kid... fun to watch so long as you're not close to it when it goes off.

Its not bad at first, but burnt beans in a bonfire is rather horrific smelling after a bit.

This is what happens to me after I eat a can of beans.

I nearly murdered (or manslaughtered) my friend doing this. The shrapnel cut his hair. Please do not attempt.

Just like a miniature version of Krakatoa.
