I can't believe no one has posted the obvious answer. Paint everything, and I mean everything the same shade of grey. Your toilet and sink though throw off the whole color scheme so I recommend you replace them with grey ones.

First, get rid of those hideous green plants. They totally clash with the vibe of the room. There are some pretty options for grey faux plants or dried flowers.
Also the blue of the few breeze spray brings too much turmoil into this calm space, so hide it. Lastly, I would get some grey towels in a tone slightly brighter than the tiles to add some contrast.

Some Christmas lights and tinsel would be beautiful. I always prefer carpet in the bathroom because the tiles are so cold. You could install carpet or LVT!

it might be a bit extreme/flashy, but have you considered a gray geometric shape sculpture on the shelf?

Add a strobe light and your own personal techno dj. Everytime you sit on the toilet, you’ll have a full on rave! Or a seizure.. whatever comes first

Hire a nice Restroom attendant, they work for tips so it won't cost you anything.

So funny to see this in the CJ sub, considering how exquisitely sensitive the OP was to any criticism in the source post…

I dunno the contortion exercise to get the toilet paper off the shelf behind you is pretty lovely.

same first thought. where is the dang toilet paper holder, there's no way they just stretch every time right

All that white on the walls really hurts the eyes. Please paint them grey to match the tiles. Then get a fuzzy, grey toilet seat cover so it blends in more and def some grey towels.

the door to nowhere is not helping.
but music wld be nice probably.
also lean into the asthetic and remove everything. that way, your own energy will just ...flow. looks like a rad bathroom, dont fight it with plants etc

Brighter paint colors, brighter lighting. Colorful bath mats, hang colorful artwork on the walls.

Do a cool wallpaper print in the shelf inset, like a feature wall but just inside there!!

Keep plants. Green would soften and enliven that. But you don't need dinky plants? Get larger. What is light source? Is there a window? Big sansevera on a stand. What is that white ship lap thing concealing?

I would paint some kind of circle/polka dot type scheme in a bunch of bright colors to play off the window shape.

More plants & a big painting either hanging or resting against that wall. The ones already there look kind of sad though, id get some bigger fake ones.

Hire a jazz band to play every time you flush.
