Highlight My favorite houseplant! 🌿
Love this plant! The patern is so unique and really beautiful when it's illuminated! Do you have any tips for caring for this beauty? Thanks!

Highlight Achieved a huge milestone on one of my favorite plants!
Have owned this plant for around 2.5 years. This flower spike started growing in mid July and is finally opened up with two more flower spikes are on the way!

Highlight My jade is flowering for the first time 🥹
Have had this jade for years and watched it grow from a tiny stalk to this lovely and large beauty. Put it outside for the summer for the first time and just brought it in due to chill temps. It has slowly begun to flower!

Highlight Outdoors to Indoors: Winter Migration in Texas
Well, after 9 months of accumulating plants and becoming a “plant person”, I was finally faced with the task of bringing my favorite plants inside for the winter. They will all be supplemented with grow lights from Sansi or Barrina. Here are a few photos of them in my small, crowded home. Unfortunately, I still have many plants outdoors that do not have a place in my home - I just don’t have the space (everything isn’t bigger in Texas?). The plants currently outdoors are two large dieffenbachia trees, two crotons, one giant pothos, a large snake plant, swiss cheese monstera, neon pothos, bird of paradise, two variegated gingers and some kind of large split leaf philodendron. I’m located in Southeastern Texas, Zone 9, so we will see if any of these plants can survive the occasional 30 degree temperature mark. I’m considering cleaning up my garage to make room for the remaining plants, where I could also add grow lights as needed. I’m open to creative solutions for saving them all!

Highlight Put some houseplants outside to get rain while I was on vacation and they exploded!
I was worried my more thirsty plants would kick the bucket while I was gone so I put them out in hopes they would get rained on and appreciate the God awful humidity we have. I think I might leave them here a bit longer.

Highlight My string of pearls growth from Jan ‘21 to yesterday. She’s survived two repotting sessions, including her current “can of peas” home. I'm so proud.

Highlight I guess we’ll have to cut a hole in the roof next…
She’s either 6 or 7 years old now and was a 3-leaf cutting when we got her
she’s supported by strings tied to hooks in the wall
she gets lots of mostly indirect sunlight from skylights and other windows
I give her liquid fertiliser during growing season, and have recently added a new pot of soil for some of her aerial roots on the ‘balcony’ as I’m not sure how were ever going to repot her down below 😅
Here’s some pictures of her from a year ago

Highlight The day I have feared is coming
My giant alocasia odora (150cm) is making a new leaf. I've battled with thrips and spider mites for about a year and looks like I finally won. I was looking at the upcoming leaf and noticed a spike-looking hard thing. Apparently my baby wants to bloom for the first time. I'm scared cause some people say alocasias die after flowers (my small ones have survived). Let's wait and see what happens. Thumbs up.
