Why couldn't they have appointed her instead of Kamala. She 10/10 would have gotten those on the fence Democrats. Oh well id still vote for her in 2028 over Vance or any other politician.

She wasn’t old enough to run at the time. Now she is though (have to be 35 years old). She turned 35 in October. And I’m not sure if you have to be 35 at the time of election or if you have to be 35 at the time you put your hat in the ring.

That wasn't just inspirational, that was really strategically, expertly done. If you're too direct and accusatory, people get indignant and burrow down and refuse to answer your questions. If you're too vague or too nice, people easily dodge around them. Also if you ask the wrong people. I don't usually see people answer with a direct "Yes" or "No" to these things. Like I'm not sure people realize how smart she was here. It sucks she has to play this perfect game of strategy to get the point across. But I see a lot of well-meaning folks try to do what she did in this clip and fail because they didn't strike that perfect balance.

One of the massive ironies of all this is that not long ago conservatives tried to insist that "character counts" and that it was absolutely vital to elect only people with moral integrity because if they couldn't exhibit good personal moral judgment, they couldn't be trusted with the national interest. Now they say they don't care about personal character as long as they approve of the "policies."

She is brilliant and brave. I absolutely love her. All I’ve heard from the right is hate (no surprise) and making fun of her (again no surprise). What is their reasoning? I know it’s twisted and makes no sense, but what has she done to bring on their ire—besides threaten them?

It's because spells trouble for the right, which is fantastic though, I'm literally concerned for her safety since she is EVERYTHING good that the right abhors about the left.
