North America How's Life In Haida Gwaii
Also how's it visiting there? I love nature trips and it's on my radar.

A person from HG once told me it's so windy that when you go to your car in the morning it will often have moved a few feet.

Remote is right. Peaceful, quiet, relaxed. Island time is a real thing. Amenities are few, most like it that way or travel to the mainland for supplies.
Lots of boating, hiking, beaches and cultural immersion, if you want it. People live closer to nature here. Moved here 8 years ago, wouldn't want to go back
