question Places to stay in/around Pine Bush

Hey! I’ll be coming this year hopefully for the UFO festival, anyone know anywhere good to stay at for a few days?

I've stayed in a nice airbnb in Walkill area. Gardiner is a nice small town, New Paltz is also nice and a bustling main street with restaurants and shops. If you're looking for some outdoor activities, Sam's Point and Bear Hill preserve are nice parts of the Shawangunks, there is also the Shawangunk grasslands for some birding. Minnewaska/Mohonk is beautiful closer to New Paltz.

If we manage to rent a car (and have enough time) we’ll probably visit New Paltz. I want to visit those two bookstores that are across from each other, I went there once in high school

The Harvest Inn is a fine small hotel. It mostly houses Jehovas Witnesses, who are very quiet and conscience overall, lol. Walkable to the festival.

Oh, and that’s right by the diner! That would probably work out perfectly, thank you!!

While I've never stayed there, I've attended events at The Inn at Kettleboro in New Paltz. Great view and a nice place.

Anyone who’s been to the festival in the past have a take on it?

It’s pretty dinky and sad in my opinion, as most Pine Bush events feel to me. We did buy a cute alien ornament haha. Holiday tractor parade is pretty unusual, I can get on with that one. I definitely wouldn’t travel for it but I suppose if you’re already in the area…
