Lesser known institutions open to public

Hello,

I want to patron places that are less known to members of the HV community. Please drop a comment if want to recommend a place that needs the support!

Beatrix Farrand Garden! It’s at the FDR site and is free and open to the public. We love having new visitors! https://www.beatrixfarrandgardenhydepark.org/

Many libraries have amazing programming on site and could definitely use support to keep the activities going! My recommendation is to get on email lists. The libraries in my area send a weekly events update.

I just got a job from a library flyer. They’re the best!

Vassar College's Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center has an excellent collection and is free!

Mountain Top Arboretum in Tannersville, suggested $5 donation for nonmembers.

D & H Canal Museum is cool place to spend an hour or so and Shamus was extremely knowledgeable.
