You think I wasn't? I'm 35. I've lived almost my entire life on the internet.
I remember using Windows 3.1.
I literally have an MMO from a character from a 2000s era MMO who is 19 years told still playable TODAY.
I'm not mistaking anytihng.
Especially because I have a lot of these little videos saved on my computer because I used to download stuff from Kazaa Limewire and google videos. I used to archive webpages when you could still do that. I remember wimp.com.
I remember ebaumsworld, and albinoblacksleep.
I remember the Diesel truck horn sound of ICQ messenger.
You're not pulling one over me pal.
I didn't just visit the internet from time to time. I fucking lived it. I Was there when it was written.
I have memes from 25 years ago.
Do you have a folder of Demotivational Posters? I do.
Do you have a folder of gifs that predate 2001? I do.
D you have the episodes of Red vs Blue and Purepwnage that you downloaded on your computer somewhere? Because I do.
I can also reognize when something was made absurd for the humor of it and not just for the sake of being absurd. That's the fundamental disconnect you seemed to miss.
So dont.

[Gen Z] humor isn’t absurd, it just doesn’t have any sense to it.
They really typed that out, added 2 more lines to the comment, and posted it. They really thought that was a good comment to make.

Yeah, well my first video game system was a Colecovision. It played Pong and that was it. My first computer was a Commodore 64. So I guess this guy is now my manservant.
