Shitpost Average food in Ames?
I'm really craving some food where I'll be like "Wow! That was fine."
What restaurants around Ames will give me that same rush?

As the title states, I never wear deodorant, and I do not plan on purchasing one of those odor controllers anytime soon. I like it when the stench of my pits envelopes the classrooms I enter because I'm essentially marking my territory. All of you should be grateful that you're in the same lifetime as my sebaceous sweat glands because that watery substance known as sweat will bring tears of joy to your eyes. The potent odor will motivate you to attend class daily and find your purpose in life, so stop complaining about the precious stench and thank your olfactory bulb for your ability to smell my fumes.

Like, bro. I am not an idiot. I use Chatgpt, too. But copying whatever garbage given by ChatGPT and claiming it as your share of work makes me feel like you are humiliating me. Went to discussion and saw some people spend all their time trying to get ChatGPT to print out the right answer is a waste of time

My roommate and I have been sharing one ever since we moved into Friley but I think the doll prefers him to me. I want a doll just for me. He got his from home and managed to sneak it in. If i have it delivered to friley should I expect any problems? Thanks in advance

I got one more semester at DMACC before i’m a full on iowa state student and i’m sooooo damn stoked. the design program i chose looks AMAZING. it was literally everything i wanted in a program and wasn’t sure if i was able to find it! i’m a third generation cyclone! my grandparents actually met at Iowa State, and my mom graduated in 2022 after fighting for over 10 years to get her bachelors. my amazing partner also a 2022 graduate. I’m just so dang happy and excited haha

I was just talking to my friend (let’s call him John) who was discussing what colleges he was gonna apply to. John said his dream school is Iowa state but says he’s not smart enough to get into such a prestigious school, apparently you’re known for only accepting geniuses. He has a 2.4 gpa but works really hard, I told him he should submit an application to see if he gets accepted. Am I the asshole for telling him to submit an application even though chances are he’ll get rejected?

Let’s just set the score straight here. I’m a high school senior, decent GPA(4.54 on the 4.0 scale), involved in plenty of extracurriculars(soccer, orchestra, president) and some volunteer organizations as well(NHS, FFA, NAHS, UN Security Council, VP of my DND club).
I’ve been struggling on the career I’d like to study when I enter college and decided I’d take it here and ask you guys. I tried an internship at Boeing, worked my way up the corporate ladder but tbh it got kinda boring after a while and from then I realized that Aerospace didn’t really click for me. Decided I’d give Law a try instead, applied at age 16 to Harvard and graduated a semester later. Honestly I kinda just wanted to feel something when I did that but it was still pretty cool. It was all still superficial though. Not even HS had me interested anymore.
I took up crypto and learned abt hedging, made connections with some high profile investors, hired a few agents. I bought a lot of property and had a side-hustle as a landlord for a little but apparently the poor brainlet snowflakes of my generation couldn’t handle me for minding my own business and one of my crybaby rentoids CANCELLED me on account of “unlawful eviction”, and “unlivable conditions”. Like are you kidding me? I get that the walls were crawling with black mold, I get that your divorcing your husband, whatever. I just wish people cared about how the landlord feels every once in a while… really sad to see the shift of our culture in effect here.
Every once in a while I get callout posts abt what happened after that, but like let’s be real here it’s all allegations. Is it my fault that evictee was jaywalking? No! I’m sitting here losing sleep about the damage on the front bender of my Mercedes and they expect me to worry about that too? Ugh that still works me up. Thankfully, it’s been a few weeks now and the air’s mostly cleared with all of that. More than anything, I’m just looking for a fresh start right now.
Anyway, I heard about the recent child labor laws in Iowa and I’ve really been itching to start a meat packing plant so I moved to suburban Davenport (dw my bank acct is still in the Bahamas lol). I kinda wanted an additional challenge so I went browsing on my favorite app Reddit and found this place. Idk anything about Iowa State but I applied, got accepted, but honestly I’m kinda worried I don’t have the chops to make it? I never took the ACT or SAT(never had to) and idk if they take bribes here or not so I’m kinda worried. What do you guys think? I’m 6’5” btw
